Mr. Vest joined the Mid-Bay Bridge Authority in 1991 during the construction of the Mid-Bay Bridge Project as the Authority's first Executive Director. He served as the on-site owner's representative during the construction of the bridge and upon completion of the construction has continued as the Executive Director administering the operation of the toll facility and overseeing capital improvement projects. Prior to joining the Mid-Bay Bridge Authority, he worked 22 years in the heavy construction industry, managing heavy construction projects throughout the United States, Puerto Rico, and Canada. He is a graduate of the University of Arkansas with a BS and MS in Civil Engineering.
